Beaches

These are the nearest beaches to our property.

They are all to the north of the town centre. Most of the town centre beaches are rocky areas. There are plenty more for you to explore around Torrevieja.

This is the nearest beach to our property.

A 15 minute walk. It is a small beach in a rocky cove away from the hustle and bustle. There are some restaurants, including a good Chinese, bars, bank, bus stops and plenty of parking space.
Not very accessible to invalids.

Blue Flag Beaches

Los Locos Beach
A 30 minute walk. Los Locos beach is 780 metres long. It has fine sands, restaurants, parking, bus stops, information office, telephones, foot showers, first aid, lifeguards, boardwalks in the sand, access for wheelchairs, toilets.
Children's games, beach sports, pedaloes, sun umbrellas & sun beds, offshore platform.

La Mata Beach
A 30 to 40 minute walk or use nearby bus service. 2.250 metres Long. A beach with fine sands and a long promenade. It has several hotels, restaurants, parking, bus stops, information kiosk, telephones, foot showers, first aid, and life guard posts. Boardwalks in the sand ,access for wheelchairs, toilets. Pedaloes, sun umbrellas & sun beds. Wind surfing, children’s games, beach sports facilities.

Playa del Cura

380 metres long. Playa del Cura is nearer to the town centre, so is the furthest from our property.
It has the same facilities as Los Locos beach

Blue Flags are awarded by the EU. Beaches, mariners and parklands which attain high standards in environmental issues such as clean water and beaches, supplementary services such as toilets, access for disabled etc.
