apartment are Playa del Acequión, and Playa
de los
Naufragos which are just a 5 minute drive (or 30 minute walk) away
from the apartment, and there are many other fantastic
sandy beaches within a 5 / 10 minute drive stretching from the
beach at La Mata south towards the beach at Cabo Roig.

Murcia: This is 50 minutes drive from the
apartment. It is a
large inland City and the following are just a few of the things
to do and see there:
Visit the stunning cathedral which is probably Murcia's most
famous landmark.
Enjoy a drink in the Plaza de las Flores. It got its name from
its many florist shops. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a
coffee, do a bit of people-watching and check out the Art
Nouveau townhouses.
Relax at the Floridablanca Gardens. It has colourful flower
gardens and plenty of shaded areas, and its most stunning
inhabitants are the old ficus trees. It's Murcia’s oldest public
park,
Cartagena: This is 50 minutes drive from the
apartment. It is a
historical naval port and the following are just a few of the
things to see and do there:
Marvel at the Roman theatre.
View the very picturesque Palacio Consistorial.
Learn about Cartagena's history at the Archaeological museum.
Visit the
Castillo de la Concepción which
is located at the highest point of Cartagena and offers amazing
views across the city.
Visit the wonderful Military museum which is home to one of the
largest collections of artillery in Spain.
The Naval museum displays exhibits on everything from boat
construction to naval health, uniforms, art and sailor life.
